Trees
Trees are the most majestic and magnificent part of the
planting in any landscape, whether in nature or in your yard.
They
need to be chosen carefully as you're not likely to be easily able to change
your mind once they are planted and are growing well - or at least it'll
be another 5-10 years to get to the same position.
No garden is too small to have a tree, and the larger
gardens should have several, they can shade your house, give magnificent
displays of spring flowers and fall foliage, supply memories from childhood,
provide a platform for a tree-house, a support for a dartboard, suspension
for a piñata etc. etc. - so you need some more.
