Enjoy having a lawn but tired of mowing it?

There aren't many options available - encourage or bribe one of the family to do it? Find a local jobbing gardener? Then a few years ago some bright spark invented the robot lawn mower.

The Robomower is loaded with innovative sensors. Like the mower's wire sensors which recognise the active perimeter wire, preventing it from venturing outside the predetermined area. Then there are tactile bumpers that recognise solid obstacles and change direction upon touching them. While a drop off mechanism automatically stops the blades if the front end of the mower is lifted upward.
