This variety, hybridized by Ken Landon in 1985, is considered to be one of the finest hybrids ever created! The yellow flowers are 5-8 inches wide, the leaves are 7-8 inches wide, and the overall plant spread is 3-5 feet wide. Texas Dawn grows best in full to partial sun. We recommend growing 'Texas Dawn' in a 7.5 quart or larger container (available from naturehills.com).
